How do i publish a new page without Spamming others?

Every time I create a new page in confluence it is spamming all the watchers. Is there any ways by which I don't have to bother others?

Try "No email storm" from the marketplace. It's a plugin that allows you to save with or without notification. It works at least for updates. For newly created pages I am not sure.

In my oppinion confluence is a spam machine and the fact that new useres are forced to watch at least one space in the welcome wizzard is a nightmare. I personally teach all new users to visit their user profile as soon as possible an unsubscribe.
