How do I wrap wiki markup around an existing table

Mike Furgal March 26, 2012

I have a table that is created in the WYSIWYG editor, now I want to put the {table-plus} macro around it.

I tried just putting in {table-plus} as text, but it just shows up as text.

I tried to "insert wiki markup" and when I did, it put both the beginning and end of the wiki markup.

So then I tried to insert wiki markup, and cut/paste the table from WSIWYG to the wiki markup section, but paste didn't do what I expected.

I'd rather not have to recreate this table. I suspect what I am asking for is fairly basic functionality.

Is there an option to get the wiki markup editor? I read the reasons for going WSYWIG, but I am trying to deloy this in a development house, so they would appreciate the older editing.

Thanks..

Cut/paste seems to work.

  1. Insert wiki markup
  2. Add table-plus wiki markup
  3. Go out and select entire table and copy
  4. Go back to wiki markup area and paste
