How do I set up a Community of Practice in Confluence?

I would like to set up a Community of Practice on our Confluence site, where practitioners can exchange ideas, questions, suggestions for best practices, etc.  I'm not seeing an appropriate type of space for this.  Is this something that others have successfully done?  If so, what is the best way to do this?  Thanks!

A popular choice for that purpose is Questions for Confluence:

That was the software which fueled Atlassian Answers, the predecesor of this Atlassian Community.
