How do I set cell width?

Tables in Confluence randomly size themselves, usually in a way that renders them unusable (column 1 is 200pts, column 2 is 50pts, column 3 is 500 pts, etc). And since this is the only way to display lengthy information and still maintain the headers, I need to set cell width or set cells to size evenly.

How can I set even column widths, while maintaining the ability to freeze column headers?

You don't, yet.  Although Atlassian recently polled us here to ask for suggested behaviours on this subject, so we know they're looking at it.

Your "random" sizing seems a bit extreme though, what are you putting in the columns?
