How do I make a user receive an email everytime another user receives an email?

Mary Demas July 24, 2017

A user on my JIRA and Confluence instance is a manager. She has requested everything her report (another user) gets an email from the system, she wants to copied. Is there an easy way to do this, that's more effective than just making her a watcher on the entire Confluence space and a watcher on all JIRA tickets for that project? I don't think she wants to see everything, she just wants to be copied on notifications to this person. This is for JIRA/Confluence Cloud.

Hello Mary,

This is not possible to set up in JIRA/Confluence Cloud. You would essentially need to create an alias for the user that forwards both to that user and their manager. I've also seen some email providers allow an option to send a copy of all emails to another person.

Let us know if you have any questions about this.

Kind Regards,
Shannon
