How do I grant a user product access to Confluence without allowing product access to Jira?

I have a user that needs to have access to a limited number of Confluence Spaces but should not have any access to Jira or Jira Service Desk.

  • I was able to restrict access to the appropriate Confluence Spaces but the user gets an access denied screen if she doesn't have product access to Jira.
  • If I grant product access to Jira, the person can log in but is routed to the Jira home page. From there she is able to successfully switch to Confluence.

How can I set things up so that the person can access Confluence with having access to Jira?

Hello,

If you include the user into the product access only for Confluence and user connects to https://yourdomain.atlassian.net/wiki. Does the user get the denied access screen?
