How do I disable automatic link creation when pasting?

Kuan Yong Wong January 10, 2020

When I paste filenames into confluence post, confluence automatically creates a hyperlink which links to nowhere.

Example:

When I paste "ABCD.so", it becomes a clickable hyperlink that links to http://ABCD.so

I paste lists of filenames and I don't want to have to manually add an escape character in front of each line nor do I wish to unlink each item.

How do I disable this auto linking feature?

Hello @Kuan Yong Wong

The workaround I've found is to use a No Format macro:

no link.png

Another way around would be clicking "Unlink" all the time.
