I'm trying to copy content from one space to another but dont' want to copy and paste each individual page.

One of the way to do this Bulk page copying :
Go to the top-level (parent) page of the content you want to copy. And copy the whole Page Tree and then select the new space where you want the content copied.

here's an answer I would personally need an extra cup of coffee before I tried it. As comfortable as I am with the REST calls, this one may exceed my technical comfort zone.
Confluence also has APIs
If you have massive amounts of content to move (e.g pages), you may want to look into the "Gets" and "Puts" along with some scripting to make it all happen.
