I am trying to add a Jira Roadmap to my confluence page so that I can display the progress during an implementation kick off meeting. I don't need them to see the entre scope of my project, just what applies to my views at the phase in the implementation.
Can anyone help with resolving the roadblock I am hitting.

As you're on a Free instance, I assume this is a Timeline (available from your Board's left-hand view)?
If yes, when you add the Timeline to your page, it should give you the option to filter it like you would in Jira - it's essentially an iFrame.

When you mean timeline and roadmap are you specifically referring to the timeline or the advanced roadmaps?
