How do I add a Create Blog button to a page?

I'm trying to add a Blog Button to a confluence (refined wiki) page. I've tried creating a user macro and inputting code supplied in a couple of other answers to the same question but it didn't work. Ideally, I'd love to add an automatic label to all blog posts too.

Turns out the coding is correct but I need the below add-on to add my label to the html code.

This worked perfectly for me!  If you want to try, replace the CAPS text in the steps below with your own values

1. Went to my personal space overview:
     https://SITE_NAME.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/~SPACE_NUMBER/overview
2. Copy SPACE_NUMBER to the clipboard.
3. Delete everything starting with /spaces to the end of the url.
4. Replace what you deleted with /pages/createblogpost.action?spaceKey=SPACE_NUMBER

That new URL can now be bookmarked as a "Create new blog post" shortcut.

Hi everyone,

just wanted to add for anyone still searching for a solution:

Just go to the space for which you want to create the "Create a Blog"-button. Right-click on the little plus symbol besides "Blog" in the left side menu of that space and choose "Copy Link Location".

You can now add this link to a picture of your choice to create a button or you can just add the link to the page of you choosing --> Clicking on the link will create a new blog in the chosen space.

I must admit, I'm inexperienced at coding. Do I need to edit these in any way? I have just copy and pasted.
