Could anybody help me with this?
The situation is, we are using the "Advanced Search" to search for something in a Confluence instance, and a list of pages will be shown, when the user click on the page title which was searched, the page could be opened in a new tab.
I tried the method on the page https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/How+to+Force+Links+to+Open+in+a+New+Window?focusedCommentId=592281615&#comment-592281615 , but seems it doesn't work.
Is there anybody knows something about this? Thanks in advance.
Regards
Li
Hi Li,
It seems that this customization is not working with the latest confluence versions. As I could see, it was made for confluence 3.0 onwards, however from that version to 5.5 one, lot of changes happened.
That HTML customization may require some work though.
As a workaround, what I use to a open a new tab is just clicking with the scroll button above the link and it will automatically open in a new tab. Its simple, but very fast and always work.
Also, I recommend to vote and watch and ask other colleagues to vote to increase the popularity in this feature request.
Cheers,
Rodrigo
