I want to use confluence as my single point of all application, so i need to get the outlook mails onto confluence , and not using outlook directly for mails.
So what will be the solution to get all respective mails and calendars and all mailing features in confluence.
Thanks
AJ
Hi AJ,
Although you will find that Confluence works more as a wiki and less as an email client, you can choose to archive mail using some add-ons within Confluence. Have a look at How do I get email into Confluence for information about those add-ons.
For Calendars, you could install Team Calendars and begin using this, but keep in mind it doesn't have a lot of the features you might be used to with Outlook Calendars, such as invitations, etc. For that you may need to subscribe to your calendars using an .ics file.
In terms of sending emails using Confluence, the most you will be able to do is send specific pages to users by sharing with them, or having them subscribe to a space or page and receive updates. As I mentioned, Confluence is not an email application, so you won't be able to write emails in it the way you would with Outlook.
I hope this helps, but do let us know if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
Shannon
