How can a non-admin allow someone else to edit a page?

Jacob Mathews February 27, 2020

For example, I am allowed to edit a page and I want to add some else to be able to edit that page as well, but I am not an admin on the space.

Hi @Jacob Mathews ,

Users with Add Page permission in space, are able to create/edit pages. Only space admins can edit space permissions, so you need to ask them.

but if that user already has space permissions, at the top of your page click on Restrictions  icon and add the user in edit page permissions.

you can read more here:

notice that if your page has parents, that user needs to have view permission for those parents too.

Hi @Jacob Mathews ,

First of all, you need to confirm with the space administrator whether the user you want to give permission has edit permissions for the space page which is essential.

In addition, if the space administrator has given you the Restrictions permission, then you can have more control over the page hierarchy based on the space permissions.
