Hi everyone,
this is my first question. ;) Just starting with it all....
I was wondering, if there is an automation I can use to delete blog posts once a set date is expired?
The goal is to delete blog posts once they get old and irrelevant.
Thanks
Petra
Better Content Archiving for Confluence is a go-to tool for automating Confluence content lifecycle management actions.
It allows you to set up rules (simple or complex) to automatically set page status and act on pages or blogs in a certain status like sending notifications or automatically deleting/archiving pages.
For your use case:
This video is about the archive automation action, but you can select the Delete action instead of the Archive:
(Please note that Better Content Archiving is a free/paid, supported app and I'm part of the team developing it.)
Thanks @Levente Szabo _Midori_ , of course there are various integration possibilities. I was wondering if there was a chance to do it with the default system automations.

@Petra Cuypers-Oberthuer Let me mention that it's not that obvious! There are not a lot of possibilities to implement this (and many other CLM use cases) especially with built-in options. Automation for Confluence can schedule a rule with the trigger "Delete blogs" and execute it regularly, but I believe not on a set specific date.
Also, I understand you use the Premium edition, but Better Content Archiving offers automations for all tiers, which may came handy for others.
