Our JIRA version 9.12.2 and Confluence 7.4.16 servers are linked, using OAuth(impersonation). I have confirmed the links are active and running.

A user tries to insert a new JIRA issue into a Confluence page and receives the following:

An Unexpected Response was received from JIRA.

There are no errors generated in the Developer tools.

Hi @Samantha Duncan

Could you kindly reconfirm the application links:

Go to admin -> application links and check the link is correct.

If the links is correct and you are still having problems, contact Atlassian support for help as there could be other reasons for the error.

You can also check this link if this is permission related

error: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/unable-to-link-jira-issues-to-confluence-pages-due-to-lack-of-permission-317196293.html

Please accept this answer if it helps.

Regards

Asha
