Hi community,

I'm looking for a way to create a link reference to a title anchor on the same page while in a draft page. The only way I know this will work if I publish the page first so the title anchor/URL is created. Which I than use in the edit page to add to my link. However, I don't want to publish page first to be able to do this.

I've followed this walkthrough: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/How-to-link-to-headings-on-the-same-page-new-editor/qaq-p/1250592. But when I enter the title and create the link it doesn't link to anything else than the draft page.

Appreciate the help!

@Robert Kiessling Welcome to the Atlassian community

You can always publish but hide the page using page restrictions https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/add-or-remove-page-restrictions/
