How can I insert a JQL for an Total issue count via Confluence Markup

I am able to insert via markup JIRA issues but they render as the Table format and I am trying to get the Total issue count. Please can someone help.

So for examples lets say I have 3 projects

Project A

Project B

Project C

I want to insert a markup in confluence to create a table showing in seperate coloumns the count of total issues in each cell - so a count from a JQL in each cell.
