How can I indent Checkboxes in the new Confluence Cloud editor

Scott Bjerke August 19, 2019

We use Confluence Pages for planning and executing major software deployments.

One feature we use heavily is indented sublists of Checkboxes

[] phase 1

    [] task

    [] task

        [] subtask

        [] subtask

[] phase 2

    [] task

        [] subtask

    [] task

    [] task

The old Confluence Cloud editor did this nicely.

How can we compose such lists in the new Confluence Cloud editor ??

Hello Scott,

Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's nice to have you!

This is not possible in the new editor, but I found a feature request for it.

Please click Vote for this issue and you will be added to the list of watchers. You will then receive any updates this on the future.

Let me know if you have any questions about that.

Regards,

Shannon

Where do we click Vote for this issue?

Eli it's under "More" then "Add Vote".

Also missing the ability to do embedded/nested checkboxes here..

Hi all,

This is something we're actively working on. We'll make sure to keep you posted once this ships!

Thanks,

OMG, Yet another "works fine, we made it better and broke basic capabilities".

Guys, this makes me want to leave Confluence. Seriously.  Its a HUGE time waster as I try to use the system, and think Google docs may be the simpler approach.
