How can I hide attachments when exporting PDF's in confluence? When i am exporting my space to a PDF i am seeing a lot of this:
Please let me know the steps that can be taken to omit these from the print out.
Thank you!!
Jen
I needed this requirement myself, so decided to build a Macro plugin for Confluence, which allows you to exclude content from different types of exports (HTML, PDF, Word, etc)
Hello Jen,
Thank you for contacting us!
There is a workaround mentioned for this on Exclude content from PDF export.
You would also be able to use something like Ignoring Content in Scroll PDF Exporter for Confluence add-on.
However, do you want to retain that macro on the page itself, or just have your users be able to download the attachments if they need? You can delete that macro from the page and the attachment will still be in your list of page attachments:
In addition, you could use the Attachments Macro and display the attachments differently:
I hope that helps, but let us know if you have any trouble.
Regards,
Shannon
