How can I find out what user groups exit for my confluence space for using macro resently updated?

Deleted user November 15, 2019

The resently macro ask me for user group name, when searching by "*" I get the not that there are to much groups to display.

I would appreciate your help in finding out where I can find the final group names.

Thanks.

Hello Steffen, and welcome to the Community!

Thanks for reaching out in regards to finding all of your groups that have access to a space within Confluence. The easiest method to check this would be to see the space permissions tab within a space to find all groups which are granted access. This can be done by following these steps;

  1. Click on the space name in the sidebar and choose the cog icon, then open the Permissions tab
  2. Choose Edit Permissions

Source documentation: Assign Space Permissions

Within the space permissions view, you’ll be able to see all groups which are granted permissions to a space, and from here, you should be able to answer your question. If you’re still having issues with auditing this, please reach out and let us know.

Regards,
