How can I add link to a stub page that is automatically created as a stub

Some other wiki apps allow you to add a link to a page like this

This is a link to [my new page]

When you submit the page you are editing with the link, the linked-to page is created as a stub.

Can I do this with Confluence?

I think I found my answer. Such a feature is in development but I didnt bother to understand the timeframe for delivery
