When I try to apply for the trial the first notification I get is "Adding HTML Macro for Confluence We'll tell you when your app has been added."
Followed by "We ran into a little trouble It might just be a hiccup. Try again in a bit"
I have tried multiple times today even in incognito mode.

@Brant Schroeder Thank you for the reply. When I went to uninstall as recommended, the app showed installed and the trial activated. All good on this end.
@Brad Michalove I would suggest removing the app and reinstalling it to see if this makes a difference. If it does not I would suggest submitting a support issue to the vendor https://bitwelt.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals
