We have created a section on a Confluence page and there may be times when sensitive information is populated in this section. Is it possible to hide certain sections from different users with permission, group, or user based visibility?
For example: This Management Team section on a page may have information populated that we only want visible to the CFO and CTO while other users can view the other information on the page.
Any help or ideas are welcome! Thanks!
Not directly in plain Confluence (there's a trick with page properties and edit rights, but it is quite easy to bypass, and means people can't collaborate the way you might want to)
Without apps, the best you can do with complete user-based hiding is to put the sensitive information in one page, one that is in a space that can only be seen by your chosen people (or use view restrictions on the page). Then, use the "include" macro on the page where you want it conditionally seen.
When I've done that, I've usually surrounded the include with some text that explains "if you see a broken macro or permissions issue message below, then it is not an error, it is simply stuff you do not have the right to see"

Hi @Melissa Riggins,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
You can hide information on the page by using page properties and then combine that with edit restrictions on the page. The draw back of this is that the user has to click on edit in order to see the page properties.
Another option is to use an app, I found this one in the Marketplace that seems to be able to do what you are looking for, Visibility for Confluence

The app does hide the information only in the front end. If you debug the webpage (with F12) you can see the Information!
