Hi there, I'm working on a Confluence page where I need to display various sprint-to-sprint tracking KPIs along with some projection charts. The page is structured so that the 12 PODs comprising the program each have an expandable section to view the data for the selected POD. However, when trying to include the necessary macro for the charts (a Chart-type macro) inside the "Expand" macro, it doesn't allow it, and the chart is placed outside the expansion macro. Is there a way to ensure that this chart is included within the expansion section or within one of the tables inside the expansion section?
This is the page... we have 12 PODs, each POD with its unique "Expand" makro:
This is the Table that is embedded into the "Expand" makro of each POD. This is the table where I want to embed the chart (right gray section of the table).
Even if I put the cursor on that gray cell, and choose the Add Makro option, the Chart, is always added outside the Expand Makro, and confluence, doesn't allow me to cut, drag or create that graph inside the table nor the expand makro:
Does anyone know how to do this?... I have done this on previous versions of confluence, and seemed to work ok... but with the new version, it seems almost impossible, time consuming and complex:
Any guidance will be highly appreciated!!
Not sure why this does not work. Make sure you clicked in the Expand macro, before inserting the Chart macro.
If you don't figure this out, you could try using the Pivot Table & Pivot Chart gadget/macro offered by our Great Gadgets app, which can let you create & display multi-dimensional tables, heatmaps and charts of various types in Confluence pages.
I just tested and the table can be interested in the Expand macro:
