Is there a way to have such logic in permission?
Example:
We have main deparment "HR" and in this department we have smaller group "Personnel department" and in personal group "Vacations department". So it is like this HR - Personnel department - Vacations department. Hr is a parent for all other departments. But there are still 3 different groups:
And we want that if we choose group "HR" for permission all other child groups of HR will inherit his permission.
So we choose HR for restrictions/permission and all the users in 3 groups is included. And if we choose "HR - Personnel department" only 2 groups will get permission ("HR - Personnel department" and "HR - Personnel department - Vacations department").
Is it possible at all to get this dependency. It is like a confluence page dependency but with groups.
@Dave Bosman _Realdolmen_and how to make this work? I marked this function in directories. And how i can link groups ?

Once nested groups is enabled go to groups in user management
You should see an option "Edit Nested Group Members" somewhere on the page.
Click that and in the new screen that opens you should be able to nest them.
