Glossary functionalities

Hello,

We're in the middle of testing the Glossary plugin for our business. However, when testing we came across some questions:

• We have lots of abbreviations with a different meaning (so abbreviation X can mean A or B, depending on the context). If we add the glossary item twice, only the most recently added item is being displayed. How can we solve this? Is there a way to filter double entries, so we can fix it manually?
• We have different business units that could benefit from their own personal glossary, but still see the use of a common glossary. What approach do you suggest? Multiple spaces with a glossary and try to combine them in a central glossary, or one glossary and work around using (eg) the labels?

Hello Thomas,

First thanks for giving our plug-in a try and let us apologize for the delay. 

Concerning your first question: 

• Unfortunately for our current version, this option isn't available. We are planning to add it to our next release where all definitions can be available after highlight. User can enrich each term with labels to differentiate.

• Actually some of our users exposed this situation, and the option that worked well with them after checking is a central glossary (dedicated space) and using labels to categorize terms. You can disable the glossary blueprint after creation to avoid other glossary creation within your instance (in other spaces)
