Looks like this has been an issue since 2017.

Copy pasting my comment from that closed thread:

I'm still having trouble with this. For months now I've had to open Safari to use certain products. AFAICT it's only affecting Confluence and Jira for me

If I go to id.atlassian.com I get redirected to start.atlassian.com which works, but trying to go Confluence and Jira results in the redirect error mentioned above.

I've tried:

  • Clearing all cookies (very frustrating)
  • Disabling all extensions
  • Toggling `privacy.resistFingerprinting` (it seems to be `false` by default now)
  • Disabling “Enhanced Tracking Protection”

This issues seems to have been going on for years. Can you please try to reproduce it locally?

Hello @Odin Dutton,

Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's great to have you join us!

In 2017, around the time of that post, there were issues with redirect on my.atlassian.com. Since then, the login process has been redesigned.

There can be other factors that would cause similar problems, including the ones that @Jan Sondergaard has mentioned. For example, changes to browser privacy settings.

I recommend that you have your Confluence site admin raise a ticket with our Cloud Support team so we can start looking into this issue and determine what the problem might be.

Thank you, and take care!

Not an answer, but I have more and more problems along the same line. Not able to see all parts of Jira, like the filter section not being shown. Pages in weird states, where you cannot tell whether you are signed in or not. Some Atlassian caching is not working. I have tried clearing local cache etc. but it's not working.
