I am creating a template child page, with Metadata Plugin for user entry of values. I am wondering if there is a macro that can be added to template to allow users to attach a file upon creating the template. Most macros I tried to attach to the template showed an error message after creating the template as they require a file to be attached even upon adding to the template.
Our iFinder Search Macro (part of our product iFinder Confluence Search) may help you. However, after using the template, the user has to manually adjust the macro regarding the content. Or in the template the macro is adjusted for a setting that is always generally valid. You can read more about the iFinder Search Macro in our article.
