As I understand it, you can extend the SpaceNavigation for external links.
Lets say you have a corporate website and you want integrate a link into the navgation.

If you are just looking for a navgation / menu plugin, there are other solution in the marketplace.

Two hints for the future: - if you have a question about a plugin, use the right tag. some vendors listen to them. in this case: "addon-de.communardo.confluence.plugins.subspac" - If a post answers your question, you can accept it, so its marked as solved.
