Expose part of confluence

Jakub Ryška September 3, 2013

We have a confluence instance in virtual private network, so it is not accessible from outside without vpn client. We'd like to expose a part of confluence, be it a space or a subtree to our partner company. They don't have the vpn access. What is the preferred way to do it?

Hi, it's probably best to export the PDF or have another instance. You can't allow a part of Confluence outside the VPN and another part not without major hassles. It'd be a pain to maintain. It means the server / Confluence IP will be public regardless.

That would probably something you would control at your firewall via a URL pattern.
