I need to export one Confluence DB into an existing database. We ran a trial to see if we liked it before adding onto another department's server. We have put some data into the trial server and I was wondering if that was exportable or not to the existing DB?

It isn't feasible to do at the database level as the trial server contents will not be confined to discrete tables. However, if the trial server data is in spaces which do not exist on the other department's server, then you can import the spaces to the other instance: Restoring a Space
