How can I enable the headings in my TOC to be expandable and collapsable?

For instance Heading 1 shows and has an expand/collapse arrow next to it. On clicking the arrow the sub-heading appear. Additionally, it is imperative for me to be retain the link on H1.

> H1 (Show and Hide the sub-headings)

H1.1

H1.2

H1.3

Hello Vikram, manually you may use the headings along Expand Macro to accomplish the result you seek, other than that, it may need some development on top of Confluence.

Hi Nedel.

Yeah I did that already using the Expand Macro - however the link for the first heading i.e H1 goes away since it comes as the title in the Expand Macro. Any way to add a link there?

So supposing I need to go to H4 directly from the TOC, I cant. Because its not linked. I can however, go to H4.1

A workaround solution to this is to type in the header that would show up int eh TOC but make the font color the same as the background making it invisible.  Seems like a very good use case but guess not important enough to develop for.
