Embed youTube videos in confluence

hpatani September 12, 2024

All references are to some app called Widget connector that I can't seem to find.

I would think something as simple as youTube video embedding would be an inherent capability withing confluence cloud.

What am I missing?

Actually, @hpatani , if your link points to a DataCenter docs, you seem to be on Cloud :)

You can simply use an iFrame macro :)

Hi @hpatani,

You can directly paste the YouTube link to embed videos into the Confluence page:

  1. Paste your link to the page
  2. Find the Embed option from the pop-up panels

  3. Your video will show up like the image below, you can also easily adjust the size of the embedded video and other simple display setups

That's all. I hope it helps!
