Editing the code macro's in the new editor?

Why on earth can't I edit the code macro (code block) in the new editor? The old editor allowed me to edit the code block and choose different styles, like dark, monokai and light. But the new one, only allows me to choose a language and then there is a delete icon?!?

I want the editing ability of the code block back, like here:

I agree with you. I miss the styles big time.

I also miss the ability to collapse the code block, because if one wants to include multiple code blocks on a page you can.

Seriously @Atlassian, bring back the code block editing features. No one wants to see a 176 lines of code, let alone have to scroll for eternity on a page where there are multiple code blocks.
