I have recently upgraded the confluence from v5.10.1 to 6.8 and could see the exceptions in atlassian-confluence.log as below:
I can see the connection to atlassian marketplace fails and the reason being we have restricted access to the internet. Please advise if this can be resolved permanently

it seems to be a network issue. Form the server, marketplace.atlassian.com seems to be not reachable.
