Does Confluence WIKI supports MS SQL express?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Supported Platforms FAQ

Does Confluence WIKI support MS SQL express edition? For very small instances (10 users with tiny load) such kind of solution would be preferrable than MS SQL Standard. Or maybe it is possible to use internal H2 database?

Thank you.

The short answer is "No"

It is not supported on MS-SQL Express.  It does, for the most part, work fine, especially for smaller installations, but formally, it is not supported.  You will find that Atlassian will try to support you if you have issues, but if they suspect any problems with the database, they will tell you to move it to a supported one.

The internal H2 database is also not supported, although it's fine for short-term use (Evaluation, development, etc).
