Disabling updates from Confluence OnDemand homepage

We don't want our customers coming to our Confluence site seeing all the updates and general maintenance we are doing to our documentation, in the "all updates" and "popular updates" tabs.

How do I remove those tabs altogether, or limit what updates show up there?

I'd recommend creating a custom page that displays exactly what you want and then set it as your site home page. See the documentation for this at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Configuring+the+Site+Home+Page

Thanks. This was the only solution I found last week to the problem, while not ideal it will work for now.

Hope Atlassian starts to add a little more customization ability to the OnDemand platform, the rigidity of the products is becoming more and more cumbersome the longer we use it.

Hey Matt,

As far as I know, you can't do it, because is something by design. Especially in OnDemand service that you can't customize your instance. If you were running standalone, you could have someone to develop a customization that would hide/limit updates there.

I hope this helps.
