Data Center Quote Help

I want to subscribe to a Data center license from Confluence ($ 30,000) and Jira ($ 30,000), for a total of $ 60,000

  • does this apply to one instance of each?
  • or can I put 2 instances of Confluence and 2 instances of Jira in order to manage the high availability?

thank you in advance for your help

Hi @Nicolas_MATELOT ,

This would be best answered by licensing support.

I agree that the best place to discuss you question is this licensing and support confirm what you are able to use.  My understanding is that you would have a single instance of Jira and a single instance of Confluence but they would be clustered with multiple servers.  So if your Confluence instance is not as large as Jira you could have 2 servers in the cluster to support a single instance of Confluence.  If you Jira instance is really large you could have 3 servers in the cluster to support your single instance of Jira.  Hope this helps.

thank you for your reply

If I set up two confluence clusters in order to respect Active-active clustering for high availability, does that double the price? (1 license per cluster?)

I believe so if it is one single instance.  I would suggest contacting licensing Pricing, billing & licensing help.   You can also learn more about clustering here:

Thank you !

I contacted "pricing, billing, and licensing help", in the simplest terms:

I wish to subscribe to a Confluence data center license ($ 30,000 public price)

If I configure an instance of Confluence in high availability on two active-active clusters for high availability, does this double the price? (1 license per cluster?)
Same question for Jira

thank you in advance for your help
