HI,
I've been trying to add a User Macro for a while now, I believe that Cloud version does not have User Macros? correct me if am wrong, so then we tried doing it on Script Runner, but no luck so far, all we are trying to do is validate a field on a page.
Ex. We have a template where on that template we have a Status field, we would like that the Status field could have any of these 3 values (In Progress, Completed, TMM Presented) and that before the user can hit save on the page, that field gets validated so only one of those 3 values can be used as an input.
Is there a way to do a button select (Radio Button) where users get presented the options they have, and they select accordingly?
Thanks in advance
Well it seems finally to be possible to have custom macros in confluence cloud, even though a third party plugin is required https://www.scriptrunnerhq.com/latest/webinars/creating-custom-confluence-cloud-macros-101
You have hit upon the single biggest disappointment with the Cloud version. Not user macros. Your choices are:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
hi @Bill Bailey thanks for the help here, I'll take a look at Forge. Can this be done using Script Runner? and if yes, any idea how?

Maybe the new Confluence Page Status macro can help? https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-status-macro/

Hi, that was kind of my first approach, but that does not let you validate, correct?
I am trying to find a way where users can only have 3 options to select for a status.
