Hi,

I have a Confluence space which is linked (Settings -> Linked Applications -> JIRA) to a specific JIRA project. When I highlight text in the Confluence space to create a JIRA issue I'm expecting it to default to the linked JIRA project.

I have tried this multiple times, across Edge & Chrome, logged out and back in, and I have removed and recreated the link. Nothing has worked.

Any suggestions on how to get it working properly?

An additional question is whether I can also have it default the issue type?

Hi @Vijay Sharma and welcome,

for my knowledge, when you highlight a text confluence proposes as default the last JIRA project that you visited on JIRA side.
