Create issue including confluence-link

Rechnung July 6, 2018

We'd like to include a link for creating a jira issue in a confluence template. The issue is supposed to represent the page and will be assigned to an admin. Actually someone could create a confluence task in the page, but we don't like them for that purpose. The issue won't be created when creating the page, but somewhat later.

The link will be like that:

http://jira.travel.local/secure/CreateIssueDetails!init.jspa?pid=10201&issuetype=3&summary=SAP%20Change&priority=4&components=11404&description=http://confluence.travel.local/display/FIBU/2018-03-27+Sample&reporter=tim&assignee=john

How can the confluence-URL within the link be set generic to the current page, where the link is nested?

Hi Florian,

To create a blueprint like that you’d want to write a blueprint plugin that includes the create Jira issue functionality. Below is an article on how to get started on writing a blueprint plugin:

There would be some complexity involved  on the Jira side, since it would need to be assigned to a user.

Alternatively, there are some great Atlassian Partners out there who could assist with the plugin for an additional fee. To find one in your area and one that meets your needs, feel free to search at the link below:

 I hope it helps!
