Copying column formatting

Hello!

 

Previously, I was able to add a column to my table and copy and paste the formatting of the surrounding columns to ensure the same width. For some reason, this no longer seems to work. Does anyone know how to fix this without highlighting and manually adjusting all of the columns to match each time I add a new column?
