Hello,
I noticed that Confluence offers the option to import documents from Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and OneDrive and convert them into page content. Is there a similar functionality available for PowerPoint files? Specifically, I would like to upload a PowerPoint file and have its content automatically extracted and converted into text on a Confluence page.
If this is not currently possible, are there any workarounds or third-party integrations you would recommend?
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Hi @Omar Bouchouari and welcome to the Community.
There's a workaround.
(this method imports any text - including from text boxes and placeholders).
BTW, importing Word docs often results in a mess. Not because of Confluence but because how poorly some word docs can be formatted. I usually copy paste content to Google Docs, then copy paste to Confluence for the best result.
Thank you so much for the quick answer.
When I opened the file in a text editor (.txt), I copied and pasted everything into Confluence, but the images, logos, etc., were not included.
Is there a solution for this?

I just replicated the process and this is the example of the text file that was produced:
I'm using Text Editor on a Mac and I only saw text...

Is it possible to upload PDF documents into Confluence with text, images, logos, etc.? I would like to find a way to do this without copying and pasting each image individually.
