Content sync from one confluence to another

Deleted user July 15, 2021

Here is the situation:

A company has a head quarter in one city and many branches in other different cities. They are using Confluence(Data Center) seperately for their own operations. In other words, the head quarter and all of these branches are installed with Confluences but these Confluences are working independently.

The head quarter wants to receive daily updated information form all of the branches. How do other branches report their Confluence data (such as documents, reports, and videos)back to the head quarter on a daily basis, so that all the branch information can be synchronized to the head quarter's Confluence?

Thanks for answering the question!

My first response is Good Lord!  The real solution is a signle unified Confluence instance. You have two options:

  • Export spaces and send them to HQ to be imported
  • Using a publishing scheme like that from Comala combined with a workflow

Either solution is messy, and far better to just have on Confluence instance. To do otherwise is a bit insane, IMHO.

Hi Bill,

Thank you so much for the response!

Is it possible to report or send only updated content back to HQ rather than sending all the spaces? How do we check the daily updated part if sending the whole exported spaces ?
