Confluence user directory not updating with JSM Directory

I have the shared LDAP user directory setup with Confluence and Jira Service Management. All of our users are resetting their password and then logging into JSM for the first time. However, it seems like Confluence is not updating the user directory when users are logging into the JSM for the first time with their new password. How do I get this to update automatically, meaning without me having to go in and select Synchronize?

Hi Brady,

You can add another User Directory in Confluence - LDAP authentication, which will be used to log into Confluence if Jira is down Connecting to an LDAP Directory
Accounts should be automatically synchronized via LDAP. AD password is not synchronized with Confluence, but password is checked directly via LDAP in AD when the user logs in.

To fix the current state, you can try temporarily disabling "Incremental sync" in Confluence and manually start a full account sync, then enable "Incremental sync" again. Alternatively, you can try restarting Confluence to refresh the automatic jobs and clear the cache.
