Hey there,
We have Confluence running in a Docker on a server.
Since there is no reason to run this service on this server in Docker, I would like to transfer it to another server and run it local. The only task of this server is to run confluence, so it makes no sense to use Docker for this.
Could someone tell me please how i can transfer the data from the docker version to a local version of confluence?
Docker version: 20.10.12
Confluence version: 6.15.3 which would be upgraded to 8.x
OS: old server Ubuntu 18.04LTS, new server Ubuntu 22.04LTS
Thank you!
Hi @Lippie
As per https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/backup-and-restore-163578.html, you should be able to perform a site backup, although it may not be available in Confluence 6.xx,
I performed the below steps for a Jira DC a while back, maybe that might work for you too:
Other documents that might have info you can use:

Thank you so much, I wanna try it soon!
