Confluence editor moves the insertions point randomly

The editor in confluence (cloud edition) shifts theinsertions point and moves the page up and down randomly when editing a long document (with about 50 individual tables and maybe 20 figures. It is *VERY* irritating. Anyone who has a clue why this happen? I have treid it in the latest chrome and edge browsers and the phenomena is the same in both browsers.
