Hello,
I installed recently the latest version of Confluence, and restored the data from an older version.
Everything went well, now I can see all my data with attachments and all.
The problem is; when I try to edit a page, the page stays hanging, and after a while I get an error message:
Failed to load the collaborative editor error.
This happens when I try to access confluence from a different computer, but when I do it on the same computer where confluence is installed, this doesn't occur and I can edit with no problem.
do you have any idea what might cause this?
Thank you in advance
Hi Paul,
Atlassian recently released collaborative editing functionality - if you restored a backup from a version of Confluence that didn't have this, that might be causing the problem. I'm not sure how to resolve this though, so unless someone else has any ideas you should log a support call with Atlassian. It seems likely this is a problem they've encountered before and will know how to resolve.
From that description, the most likely reason is your network settings blocking Synchrony.
Check over https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/troubleshooting-collaborative-editing-858772087.html looking at the proxy and websocket sections first (as it works locally, I don't think it's the other culprits on that page)
