I have issue security set up in a Service Desk project. Issues within this project create events in a Confluence calendar by using JQL queries.
We have a use case where team managers should be able to view all calendar events in the calendar, but they should only be able to open and view issues that they are assigned to. In this case the option to View Event would be restricted in the Confluence calendar, but they should still be able to see the event in the calendar.
As expencted, using issue security in the project prevents users from seeing issues they aren't assigned to, but this also removes their ability to view the issue event that is created in the Confluence calendar. Is there a way to work the issue security and project permission scheme to allow the calendar event to still be visible?
If this isn't possible out of the box is there a workaround or plugin available?
Hi Weston,
I believe that the calendar events will respect the issue security that is set in the jira project. So it works as expected.
