Hi Craig,

First and foremost, please understand that Tomcat 7 is not a supported platform for Confluence release version 5.4.4 and we believe that there will be functionality issue when Confluence it's pair with it. One example will be our knowledge base article below:

Please note that the latest version of Confluence do support Tomcat 7, so we highly recommend you to upgrade your Confluence to the latest version to pair it with Tomcat 7.

Hope it helps.

When 5.4.4 came out the recommended supported platform Tomcat version was 6.0.32 and its run brilliantly.

Suddenly I've been asked to implement Tomcat 7x (the most recent 7.0.57) version. We have tons of plugins from various vendors and thousands of users so a full upgrade cycle with testing takes weeks.

Feedback about Tomcat 7x on Confluence 5.4 would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and expertise,

Craig
